Too many offences:
Marrissa Overton was charged with four offences and was arrested on the A22 London Road. The 28 year old woman apologized and appealed to the authorities but the charges was proved against her in a trial at Horsham Magistrates Court.
Fines to be faced:
Marrissa was fined with £100 each for driving without a front registration plate and a MOT certificate. A fine of £200 has to be given by her for being on call while driving and taking along a child without seatbelt.
Keep a check:
Such incidents prove that it is very important to keep a check on all the aspects of your car including tyres, belts and certificates that are needed to protect one and keep away from such offences. There are several government authorized service centres at Hull that offer certificates approved by the ministry of transport.
What should you do?
To check whether your car is MOT certified or not, you must get in touch with the garage in the area near to you and talk with the authorities about the aspects that need to be improved upon with your car. The mechanics check the model, brakes, tyres and the overall mechanism of the car before providing you with a certificate. After the procedure is over, your car becomes worthy of being driven on roads.
Drive safe and do not forget to put the seatbelt on!
